Founded in the year 1973, in a span of two decades, this company has grown from a pipes distribution set up to a highly diversified organisation dealing with various Building Materials and Engineering Products.
The company originally started as a joint venture with renowned Swiss Eternit Group to market their A sbestos pipes : as the momentum of development gathered pace in Bahrain, the company diversified its product range to cover a vast variety of pipes in Water distribution and Sewage network system.
	Amongst the notable addition were Ductile Iron, GRP/GRE, Polythene, PVC, Concrete and Steel Pipeline system with full complement of Protection system, control gears, fittings, valves and measuring equipments etc.

In 1985, Qasim Fakhro Gulf Eternit became a fully owned Bahraini company and added to its diversification plan a full fledged building materials division with installation facilities for Ceilings, Floorings and Partition systems. Fiberglass insulation range was further strengthened by addition of Rockwool and Rubber foam products. In terms of other notable product based diversification, was the commencement of Electrical division in 1992, successfully marketing Transformers and other Switchgears for both governmental and private sectors.

Further continued process in product diversification, was the addition of Industrial Products such as Water Desalination/Purification Units, Pumpsets, Fire Fighting and Security systems etc.
